The Mission of agaperelationship.com:
The mission of agaperelationship.com is to encourage the body of Christ to be the body of Christ so that Jesus may be manifested in our mortal bodies. ďThat the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.Ē 2 Corinthians 4:11
The Purpose of agaperelationship.com:
AgapeRelationship.com was created to provide food for thought to those who seek to go deeper than the surface and long to experience the depth of intimacy with God. To learn about the New Covenant Relationship we have in Christ Jesus, which is the grace covenant that allows us through the blood of Christ (which is the grace) to be one with God (1 John 4:10-17). To encourage each otherís hearts in pursuing Jesus so that what God has already given in the Spirit will be seen (1 Cor. 4:11).
The medium we want to use is the Internet to communicate with a new audience outside of the church walls. The body of Christ is not a building but it is the people who make up the church, and it is within the body that we can experience agape relationship in its purest form. It is our belief that the church in the past has missed what is possible as the body of Christ. We have run in the face of conflict rather than letting the struggle of walking through it open our eyes to the truth of what being part of the body consist of and the intimate relationship it will bring with God and with each other.
Through the medium of the Internet we want to provide for you a few resources free of charge to read, listen, and view Bible Studies, Conversations, and Newsletters from the likes of Joe Shelton, Larry McClendon, Johnny Taylor, Jason Goodson, and other contributing authors. Agaperelationship.com will also provide resources such as music, Bible Study, Books, and links to some of our favorite authors, musicians, speakers, youth camps, and Bible study resources on the net.
What is Agape Relationships?
Agape Relationships is not a far off feeling but a pursuing intimate knowing of another. Godís love and life flowing in and through us to others, which is the process of allowing Godís perfect love to be shown through us as we live our lives daily, encouraging one another and walking through conflict with one another to build intimacy and the healing of wounds that have been born through life.
